Intraoral Cameras
With the intraoral cameras we use, you can finally see for yourself exactly what Dr. Vazquez or Dr. Aldana are viewing when looking into your mouth. Equipped with a small camera on the tip of the handheld device, you can view, in real-time, images of your teeth and gums. This technology allows us to pinpoint problem areas quickly and implement appropriate treatment plans to mitigate further oral health issues in the future.
All-Digital X-Rays
Dental X-rays are a necessary component of any good dental office. Because problems don’t only exist in the visible areas of the mouth, it’s essential that we have access to view the underlying structures and tissues below the gumline. Fortunately, with digital X-rays, these images are now much safer and clearer, emitting much less radiation than traditional radiographs. And with higher-resolution images, we can better plan for necessary treatment should you require it.
3D Cone Beam Imaging
Certain treatments and procedures require a more complete view of a patient’s smile, which is why we use the I-CAT 3D Cone Beam Scanner. This device turns a complete 360 degrees to capture hundreds of images of a patient’s teeth, bones, gums, tissues, nerves, and other oral and facial structures. Not only can we use these scans to prepare a thorough treatment plan, but we can also minimize the length of their recovery time.
Digital Impression System
Cold, messy dental putty is a thing of the past now that we use a digital impression system. This device makes it easy to quickly scan your smile, transferring the images onto a nearby computer screen to create a three-dimensional image. This process prevents any potential gagging and instead makes for a more enjoyable experience and higher quality images for lab technicians to use to create your customized restorations.
