Questions people ask before they call
If yours isn't here, call and ask. We answer in English or Spanish.
What does a first visit cost?
A new patient exam with x-rays is $80. If you need anything beyond that, you'll get a written estimate first, showing what your insurance is expected to cover.
Do you take my insurance?
We're in network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Delta Dental, MetLife and other major PPO plans. Send us your plan when you book and we'll check your benefits before you come in.
What if I don't have insurance?
The Sunshine Membership is a $110 one-time fee with no monthly fees: 2 dental checkups with x-rays, unlimited limited exams for pain, and 30 to 40% off dental treatment. It isn't insurance, and cleanings aren't included. Sunbit and Cherry offer monthly payments on larger treatment.
Can I make payments?
Yes. Sunbit and Cherry both split larger treatment into monthly payments, and you can apply in the office. You'll see the cost in writing before you decide.
Can you see an emergency today?
During office hours we do our best to see emergencies the same day, so call first thing. The emergency exam with limited x-rays is $40.
I haven't been to a dentist in years. Will I get a lecture?
No. You'll get an honest look and a plan that starts with what matters most. Lots of people who come here waited a long time. That's fine.
I'm scared of the dentist. Be honest, does it hurt?
We numb thoroughly, we go slowly, and we stop if you raise your hand. Tell us you're nervous when you book and we'll plan extra time. Ask about sedation options too.
Do you do dentures?
Yes, full and partial dentures, and dentures held in place by implants. Fittings and adjustments happen here in the office.
Do you see kids?
Yes. We see patients of all ages, so parents and kids can often book back to back. Tell us who's coming when you call.
Do you speak Spanish?
Yes. Both dentists are bilingual, and so are members of the team. Se habla español.
Where do I park?
There's a free parking lot right out front. The office is on the ground floor with a wheelchair accessible entrance, in the same building as BioTech Medical Supply on N Bryan-Belt Line Road.
